(Full-Day Tour; Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Maipo is the nearest wine region around the city of Santiago a region known for its balanced red wines.
The vineyards extend towards the East from Santiago to Los Andes and West to the Coast to form three distinct sectors from the Maipo Valley; Alto Maipo, which are the vineyards near the Andes Mountains and produces some of the main Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. The other division corresponds to the coastal zone, where maritime influence comes from the sea and not from the mountains.
Maipo Costa is the least planted area, but with new wine making projects and others already established, they are all looking for the best adjustments to its vineyards to obtain wines with identity.
Along with other enthusiasts, we invite you to visit some of the most famous producers and wineries in the region.
