The 65 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards in Chile’s Central Valley are planted, tended and harvested by the Echeverría family. Roberto Echeverria is still very active in the family business and continues to inspire the whole family to develop new projects and delight new customers. 3. Visit to Miguel Torres Winery, Miguel Torres was the first foreign winery established in Chile. The Torres Family chose this country as a suitable destination for the practice of viticulture due to the excellent climate and soil conditions across the region. Founded in 1865, Viña San Pedro is today one of the largest and oldest Chilean wine exporters, and one of the country's most important wineries. The main vineyards and the centenary underground cellar of San Pedro are located near the town of Molina in Curico, 100 miles south of Santiago.
